to Plant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yes, it is time to plant.\u00a0 Spring is here so let&#8217;s get busy!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Spring is probably my favorite season&#8211;it&#8217;s a time to watch all of the flowers popping up out of the ground, seeing all of the beautiful blooms appearing.\u00a0 I love perennials because once I plant them they will (hopefully) keep coming up every year!\u00a0 I found some of my favorite perennials while browsing the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.betterhomesandgardens.com\">Better Homes and Gardens<\/a> site so thought I would share some with you.<\/p>\n<p>The color yellow reminds me of spring so some of my favorite perennials have yellow flowers\/blooms.\u00a0 We have a lot of daylilies around our home, and they are so easy to transplant.\u00a0 Blackeyed susans and coreopsis are also great perennials.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/DAYLILY.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t forget the peonies!\u00a0 I can remember spending time at my aunts&#8217; home and enjoying all of the many peony bushes they had in their yard.\u00a0 The blooms are gorgeous, and the ants love them!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/PEONY.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1347\" src=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/PEONY-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/PEONY-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/PEONY-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/PEONY.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have purple coneflowers planted in several areas.\u00a0 They, too, are easy to transplant.\u00a0 When I had my gift and home decor shop, I transplanted several from our home to my shop&#8211;and they survived and thrived!<a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/CONEFLOWER.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1343\" our current home.\u00a0 The developer had these perennials in several of our common areas.\u00a0 They don&#8217;t look like much when they first appear in the spring, but as time goes on their blooms become more vibrant.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/SEDUM.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1348\"
