Yes, it’s time to plant! \u00a0I love flowers, and I love planting my pots and containers this time of year! \u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s fun going to the garden center and trying to decide what plants and flowers to choose–there are so many different kinds and colors. \u00a0I usually have certain colors of flowers that I like to plant each year. \u00a0 \u00a0This year I am going with all red and white flowers with a touch of yellow.<\/p>\n

As usual, I can always find great ideas on Pinterest<\/a>. \u00a0Petunias and geraniums are some of my favorites so thought I would share these ideas with you. \u00a0This geranium idea is from the National Garden Bureau<\/a> and the petunias are found on Learn2Grow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking of petunias, Clear Lake, Iowa has the most gorgeous hanging baskets around their main street and town square each spring\/summer. \u00a0 \u00a0I took a picture of one of their baskets last summer–I hope the baskets look as good this year!<\/p>\n

I have a lot of hostas around my home. \u00a0I found this idea at Ottawa Garden Design<\/a>–I would never have thought about putting them in pots or containers.<\/p>\n

Coleus are also great plants for containers. \u00a0This idea is in the Houston Chronicle<\/a>. \u00a0Earthworm <\/a>Technologies on their Facebook page shows a container with coleus, impatients and ivy. \u00a0What a beautiful arrangement!<\/p>\n

I also found these container ideas from Flowerscape<\/a> and Tidbits & Twine<\/a> (on Pinterest). \u00a0I just wish my plantings could look this good!<\/p>\n

Well, I have all of my pots and containers planted–now I just have to wait for them to grow and get beautiful!
