{"id":605,"date":"2015-10-27T17:36:26","date_gmt":"2015-10-27T17:36:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/?p=605"},"modified":"2015-10-28T05:30:57","modified_gmt":"2015-10-28T05:30:57","slug":"a-halloween-care-package","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/?p=605","title":{"rendered":"A Halloween Care Package!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Halloween care packages for my grandsons are always fun to prepare and send.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Because I do not live close to my grandsons during the winter season, I always try to send them a &#8220;care package&#8221; for the special holidays. \u00a0I recently sent them a Halloween care package so I thought I would share pictures and ideas with you. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t want my daughter and son-in-law to feel left out (HA HA) so I put in a little something for them as well.<\/p>\n<p>I found some really cute Halloween sacks at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Walmart.com\">Walmart<\/a> so that was my starting point as I gathered a few things together to put in their sacks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-606\" src=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR\" width=\"300\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085504767_HDR.jpg 1368w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I found some activity books at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Walgreens.com\">Walgreens<\/a> for two of the grandsons and found a Lego-like put together toy for the oldest grandson. \u00a0I also found some plastic Halloween cups and straws at the <a href=\"http:\/\/99only.com\">99 Cent Store<\/a> so those went in the care package as well. \u00a0Paper plates and napkins always come in handy at lunch time so I found some cute &#8220;trick or treat&#8221; plates with coordinating napkins at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Walmart.com\">Walmart.<\/a> \u00a0I love all of the &#8220;fun&#8221; pencils that are available for the various seasons and holidays. \u00a0I found some at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Walmart.com\">Walmart<\/a>&#8211;the two oldest boys can use them when they do their homework!<\/p>\n<p>What kids don&#8217;t like DVD&#8217;s! \u00a0Scooby Doo is a favorite of the boys, and I found a good Halloween Scooby Doo DVD at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.Walgreens.com\">Walgreens<\/a> so that was wrapped separately and included in the care package.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t forget the candy, but I made sure I didn&#8217;t include <strong>too<\/strong> much!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085333823.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-607\" src=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085333823-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20151008_085333823\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085333823-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085333823-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I made &#8220;trick or treat&#8221; tags for the bags, and I personalized each tag with each one&#8217;s name on the tag.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085633154.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-608\" src=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085633154-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_20151008_085633154\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085633154-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jksjksdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/IMG_20151008_085633154-1024x576.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It was fun getting everything together&#8211;didn&#8217;t spend alot of money but as they say, &#8220;it is the thought that counts&#8221;. \u00a0The boys had fun opening the box when it arrived, each one finding his own sack and then looking inside to see what goodies Mamaw sent them!
