Let’t get ready for the Super Bowl!

The Super Bowl will be here soon – February 4, in fact!  So, it is time to start planning that Super Bowl party!  Here are  some ideas that I found–mainly on Pinterest!

First of all I would start with a green table cover for the food table.  Don’t worry about getting “football” design plates – why not use brown, orange and/or green paper plates.  Use the same color, or clear, utensils.  Here is a great idea from Tablespoon for the fun holders for the utensils.

 

 

Fab Everyday has a cute idea for the drinking cups – once again brown plastic cups have been chosen.  Just use a white paint pen to add the “laces”!

Some of these food ideas I have given you in past blogs, but I think they are worth showing again.  All of these ideas are from Your Modern Family.  Deviled eggs are always a hit–and these are made to look like footballs.

Cheese and crackers make good snacking foods, and look how fun these look when arranged to look like a football.

It’s always a good idea to have at least a couple of sandwich choices.  I think almost everyone likes pigs in a blanket, plus they are so easy to make.

Why not make some mini deli sandwiches with various deli meats and veggies?  Add a fun football pick to each sandwich to help hold them together.  I am sure these picks can be found on-line or at your local party store such as Party City.

Don’t forget dessert!  I love the idea of these football cupcakes from Lady Lux.

My Super Bowl place cards are a great idea for the food table.  Just write the name of the food item on the place card and place it beside the item.  These are available at my Etsy shop, JKSJKSDesign.
