My sister and my daughter recently redesigned a teen boy’s bedroom, and it does in deed hit a home run!

The teen boy LOVES baseball – in fact, he is an all-star pitcher on his high school team.  Pat and Laura worked with the bedding (Pottery Barn Teen) that he already had, and that was their jumping off point for color.  A throw pillow (from Pottery Barn Teen) with all of the MLB team logos was placed on the bed.  The outdated headboard was replaced with a metal and gray upholstered one from Target.

 

His study area was updated with a new industrial style desk and chair, also from Target.  17 is his jersey number and canvas bins from Target were added for storage.

His prized bats were hung on the wall and a vintage metal baseball sign from Etsy was placed above the bats.

A framed quote from Babe Ruth hangs above a metal locker.  The teen’s autographed baseballs were installed on the wall with metal holders from Restoration Hardware.

A new dresser was purchased from Furniture Deals and a navy blue lamp from Target was placed on the dresser.   Vintage prints describing the Evolution of Baseball were purchased from Etsy and hung above the new dresser.

The teen reported back to Patty (PattyCarlsonMehelic) and Laura that he now LOVES doing homework in his new bedroom!
