It doesn’t seem possible, but it soon will be school time!

Where has the summer gone? I’m sure that is what you are asking yourself. We all would like to be organized and ready for the new school year so I have found some ideas that I think you might like!

Here’s a good way to keep all of the school supplies organized. The kiddos should be able to find everything they need when it is time to do homework! . I found this idea on Pinterest.

Here’s another great idea–this one from Simple Made Pretty. This would be great to use on the desk – no more wondering about where the pencils and other supplies are when it is time to do homework!

How can we survive without a calendar, especially during the school year? This idea from Uncluttered Simplicity is great! If you have the wall space, I think this is a must!

Need to leave messages or reminders during the school week? Infarrantly Creative has this idea which I think is great. My daughter has this in her area going from the kitchen into the garage.

I think I have mentioned before about the tradition in our family of having brownies ready for the kiddos after the first day of school. Not only are the kiddos hungry after a long day at school, but it gives them time to tell you all about their day and enjoy some great brownies. This recipe from Life in the Lofthouse sounds delicious, and it is on my “to make” list this school year!
