Yes, when Labor Day rolls around that means the end of summer!  It is the end of vacations, ball games, time at the pool AND it is the beginning of school–and the list goes on!

Many of us plan a Labor Day/end of summer celebration with family and friends.  I have found some ideas on Pinterest that you might want to use if you are planning a Labor Day celebration.  First of all, I found this fun table decoration from Plaid On Line.  It looks easy to make and will look great on your tables.

I also found this free printable of the Pledge of Allegiance from On Sutton Place.  Why not put this on the tables or on the food table – it would add a great touch to your day!

 

Everyone loves to grill out on a special occasion, and Labor Day is a special occasion.  So let’s have some hamburgers, and for those who don’t like burgers, grilled chicken is always a good choice.  I found these ideas for the “best” burgers and chicken on KitchMe.  These are making me really hungry!

 

 

Don’t forget the hot dogs! Here are a couple of ways you could fix those dogs–mini corn dogs and crescent dogs.  I found the idea for the mini corn dogs on Pinterest at Jo Cooks.  The crescent dogs idea is from Pillsbury.

 

 

 

Everyone loves fruit, and here are two ideas for your celebration.  Thought the watermelon on a stick idea from Brit + Co  was cute and easy!  The “perfect summer fruit salad” from Kitchme looks yummy.

 

 

Save room for dessert!!!  I found several dessert ideas and couldn’t decide which ones to include so I am including them all–brownies on a stick from Hoosier Homemade,  patriotic cupcakes from Amanda Parker and family, and strawberry pretzel salad from Stock Piling Moms.
