Mother’s Day is always a special day to honor moms–a day to do something extra special to let Mom know she is loved. This year, Mother’s Day is May 8.
I thought I would share a few ideas that I found. Ideas that may help you make your mom’s day a special day.
It is always fun to have the kids make something special for Mom or Grandma. I thought this butterfly made from the child’s hands was a great idea. I especially love the saying that goes along with the butterfly. This would make a great card! This idea comes from Craft or DIY, and I found it on Pinterest.
If Mom or Grandma love to read, this bookmark would be a neat idea for the kids to make. Teach Junkie had this idea on Pinterest.
Why not surprise Mom with a special breakfast treat on Mother’s Day morning! These strawberry glaze muffins look delicious! Since I love strawberries, I think I will have to try these. The recipe is from Garnish and Glaze. I have pinned it to my Mother’s Day board (Janis Slaughter) on Pinterest.
That gift or special treat for Mom or Grandma would look gorgeous in this hand-made gift box from Yellow Bliss Road. The instructions make it seem very easy to make. This would be a great gift box for any occasion. Don’t forgot the gift tag! You can get these free printable gift tags also from Yellow Bliss Road. I thought these were really pretty!
I also found some free printables that would either make great framed gifts or cards to give to Mom or Grandma. A Night Owl has this printable on their website. I can see this as a really pretty card.
This printable also caught my eye. I think this would look great framed as a gift. I found this on Pinterest and it is from Printables 4 Mom.
Well, I hope I have given you some ideas to help you make May 8 a really special day for your mom or grandma. Mother’s Day is the day set aside for honoring Mom, but remember to always tell her you love her every day of the year!! Happy Mother’s Day!!
